Hi.
This is where I say that I was always destined to be a writer, right? That I came out of the womb clutching a pencil in one hand and Stephen King's On Writing in the other? Well, I hate to disappoint, but I didn't discover Stephen King till 2024, and I've never been a fan of pencils. Copywriting wasn't even on my radar till a few years ago, when I did a complete 180 on my cinematography career.
Truthfully, writing has never come naturally to me; it's always been a dogfight.
But there is something that comes naturally to me — effort. And writing loves effort. I may not have the perfect headline in my back pocket, but I've got two hundred decent ones that'll lead to something great. My first script may not be right, but one of the next ten will be. Jab after jab after jab, until something finally lands. And it always does.
Writing may be a fight, but I haven't lost yet.
When I'm not Quiplashing the Teams chat, I'm playing pickleball, building Legos, riding my motorcycle, or planning weekend hiking trips. If you're interested in my resume, you can find it here.
